The Main Guy-Chris DeVillier

With over twenty-five years of culinary experience, Chris DeVillier is now offering his services as a personal chef, caterer and TV Food Stylist to many high-profile clients. A list of the artists he has served includes David Bowie, Bob Dylan,  Chris Rock, the Rockettes, Mariah Carey and the cast of “The Lion King.”  DeVillier caters parties from 4 to 1500 people.

From Italian to Spanish, Mexican to Asian-influenced cuisine, DeVillier has mastered numerous culinary styles and puts his own clean, fresh spin on these classic styles.

In addition, DeVillier provided consultation on new product development for a national line of sauces and food rubs, as well as on recipe testing and creation for two cookbooks- Tom Douglas’s “Big Dinners” and “All About Crab Cakes”.

DeVillier has also worked on several cooking shows as the Culinary Director and Consultant. He was instrumental in the development and food design for Cucina Amore, a popular PBS program, and consulted on recipe creation and design for the companion cookbook. 

DeVillier also served as culinary consultant and associate producer for Master Chef, working with host and world-renowned chef Gary Rhodes, as well as guest chefs Jacques Pepin, Madhur Jaffrey, Jacques Torres and David Rosengarten.   He is currently working as a Food Stylist with Yahoo! Food on online video content for Wolfgang Puck and other original shows currently in production for release to the Yahoo! Food network.

DeVillier has traveled extensively, visiting with chefs throughout Europe and spending a season cooking in San Sebastian, Spain.  He blends his unique culinary experiences, flair for innovation, and meticulous attention to detail into his own Mediterranean cooking style, always highlighting seasonal, sustainable, fresh local foods.
